I went to a quilt show last weekend and here are the photos.  Congrats to the Prairie Star Quilters of St. Charles, Illinois.  It was a nice show.  Lots of creative, scrappy quilts and good ideas!
Perfect for fall.  Great scrappy quilt.

I like how she used extra wide rick-rack as binding.

She used a Christmas Card as her inspiration.  So cute...

This is a great example of how you make the fabric work for you!

 Scrappy - great stash buster!

Another simple block, uses lots of scraps.

 Great Quilting~

This was a signature quilt - with medallion center.  Very nice.

 The quilting compliments this quilt.

 Details

 Great quilting
Simple and a stash buster.  Pattern Kansas City Dug Out.

One of my favorites.  She said it was a great stash buster.  Everything goes together so nicely.

Snow Days - A CrabApple Hill pattern with hand embroidery.
She chose a blue-grey variegated thread - and it looked great.  Note the quilting over the embroidery.  It did not take away from the quilt even though you see it more in this photo than you did in person.
This is a "Friendship" quilt.  Her friends (as they had to be REALLY good friends) each made a tiny quilt to hang on the line.

More next time...
